7 Ways To Use Oregano Oil Around The Home!

Oil of oregano is an essential oil, meaning it’s an oil distilled from a plant and it contains natural aromatic compounds.  The term ‘essential oil’ stems from the term ‘quintessential oil’, which is connected to the Aristotelian idea that matter if composed of four elements (fire, air, earth and water).  In addition to these four elements, there was also a fifth one – quintessence – which was basically the spirit or life force.  Historically, essential oils were believed to represent the spirit of the plant from which they were derived.
Spiritually, oregano oil was thought to be purifying and protective.  You can use it extensively throughout your home, to help create a mood, clean the air, disinfect utensils, and more.
